Through Salah, a believer attains peace, guidance, and the ultimate success in this world and the Hereafter.<\/p>\n<p>Let us delve into the significance of Salah using the Quran, Hadith, and the wisdom of our righteous predecessors.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>1. Salah: The First Question on the Day of Judgment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Prophet Muhammad (\ufdfa) said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201c\u0623\u064e\u0648\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064f \u0645\u064e\u0627 \u064a\u064f\u062d\u064e\u0627\u0633\u064e\u0628\u064f \u0628\u0650\u0647\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0639\u064e\u0628\u0652\u062f\u064f \u064a\u064e\u0648\u0652\u0645\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0642\u0650\u064a\u064e\u0627\u0645\u064e\u0629\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0635\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0629\u064f\u060c \u0641\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0646\u0652 \u0635\u064e\u0644\u064e\u062d\u064e\u062a\u0652 \u0635\u064e\u0644\u064e\u062d\u064e \u0633\u064e\u0627\u0626\u0650\u0631\u064f \u0639\u064e\u0645\u064e\u0644\u0650\u0647\u0650\u060c \u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0646\u0652 \u0641\u064e\u0633\u064e\u062f\u064e\u062a\u0652 \u0641\u064e\u0633\u064e\u062f\u064e \u0633\u064e\u0627\u0626\u0650\u0631\u064f \u0639\u064e\u0645\u064e\u0644\u0650\u0647\u0650\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>(\u201cThe first thing for which a servant of Allah will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection is his Salah. If it is correct, then the rest of his deeds will be correct. If it is deficient, then the rest of his deeds will be deficient.\u201d)<\/em><br \/>\n<em>(Sunan al-Tirmidhi 413)<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This Hadith underscores the weight of Salah in determining the fate of all other deeds. Without proper Salah, even our good actions lose their essence and reward.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>2. Salah: Never to Be Abandoned<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>No matter the circumstances\u2014be it illness, war, or extreme difficulty\u2014Salah must not be neglected.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In times of illness, Allah permits tayammum:<br \/>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u0641\u064e\u062a\u064e\u064a\u064e\u0645\u0651\u064e\u0645\u064f\u0648\u0627\u0652 \u0635\u064e\u0639\u0650\u064a\u062f\u0657\u0627 \u0637\u064e\u064a\u0651\u0650\u0628\u0657\u0627<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>(\u201cThen perform tayammum with clean earth.\u201d)<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Surah An-Nisa (4:43)<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>On the battlefield, Allah commands:<br \/>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u0641\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0630\u064e\u0627 \u0642\u064e\u0636\u064e\u064a\u06e1\u062a\u064f\u0645\u064f \u0671\u0644\u0635\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0648\u0670\u0629\u064e \u0641\u064e\u0671\u0630\u06e1\u0643\u064f\u0631\u064f\u0648\u0627\u0652 \u0671\u0644\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064e \u0642\u0650\u064a\u064e\u0670\u0645\u0657\u0627 \u0648\u064e\u0642\u064f\u0639\u064f\u0648\u062f\u0657\u0627<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>(\u201cWhen you have finished the prayer, remember Allah standing, sitting, and lying on your sides.\u201d)<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Surah An-Nisa (4:102)<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>4. The Consequences of Neglecting Salah<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Those who abandon Salah face dire consequences. Allah warns:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u0641\u064e\u062e\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0641\u064e \u0645\u0650\u0646\u06e2 \u0628\u064e\u0639\u06e1\u062f\u0650\u0647\u0650\u0645\u06e1 \u062e\u064e\u0644\u06e1\u0641\u064c \u0623\u064e\u0636\u064e\u0627\u0639\u064f\u0648\u0627\u0652 \u0671\u0644\u0635\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0648\u0670\u0629\u064e \u0648\u064e\u0671\u062a\u0651\u064e\u0628\u064e\u0639\u064f\u0648\u0627\u0652 \u0671\u0644\u0634\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064e\u0648\u064e\u0670\u062a\u0650\u06d6 \u0641\u064e\u0633\u064e\u0648\u06e1\u0641\u064e \u064a\u064e\u0644\u06e1\u0642\u064e\u0648\u06e1\u0646\u064e \u063a\u064e\u064a\u0651\u064b\u0627<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>(\u201cBut there came after them successors who neglected prayer and pursued desires; so they are going to meet evil.\u201d)<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Surah Maryam (19:59)<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Quran also portrays the regret of those who neglected Salah:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u064a\u064e\u0648\u06e1\u0645\u064e \u064a\u064f\u0643\u06e1\u0634\u064e\u0641\u064f \u0639\u064e\u0646 \u0633\u064e\u0627\u0642\u0656 \u0648\u064e\u064a\u064f\u062f\u06e1\u0639\u064e\u0648\u06e1\u0646\u064e \u0625\u0650\u0644\u064e\u0649 \u0671\u0644\u0633\u0651\u064f\u062c\u064f\u0648\u062f\u0650 \u0641\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u064a\u064e\u0633\u06e1\u062a\u064e\u0637\u0650\u064a\u0639\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>(\u201cThe Day the shin will be uncovered and they are invited to prostrate but they will not be able to.\u201d)<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Surah Al-Qalam (68:42)<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>5. Salah Protects from Immorality and Wrongdoing<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Salah has a transformative effect on the believer\u2019s character. Allah says:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u0625\u0650\u0646\u0651\u064e \u0671\u0644\u0635\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0648\u0670\u0629\u064e \u062a\u064e\u0646\u06e1\u0647\u064e\u0649\u0670 \u0639\u064e\u0646\u0650 \u0671\u0644\u06e1\u0641\u064e\u062d\u06e1\u0634\u064e\u0627\u0653\u0621\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0671\u0644\u06e1\u0645\u064f\u0646\u0643\u064e\u0631\u0650\u06d7<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>(\u201cIndeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing.\u201d)<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Surah Al-Ankabut (29:45)<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>6. Salah Strengthens Brotherhood in Faith<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Salah is a symbol of unity and brotherhood among believers. Allah states:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u0641\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0646 \u062a\u064e\u0627\u0628\u064f\u0648\u0627\u0652 \u0648\u064e\u0623\u064e\u0642\u064e\u0627\u0645\u064f\u0648\u0627\u0652 \u0671\u0644\u0635\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0648\u0670\u0629\u064e \u0648\u064e\u0621\u064e\u0627\u062a\u064e\u0648\u064f\u0627\u0652 \u0671\u0644\u0632\u0651\u064e\u0643\u064e\u0648\u0670\u0629\u064e \u0641\u064e\u0625\u0650\u062e\u06e1\u0648\u064e\u0670\u0646\u064f\u0643\u064f\u0645\u06e1 \u0641\u0650\u064a \u0671\u0644\u062f\u0651\u0650\u064a\u0646\u0650<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>(\u201cBut if they repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, then they are your brothers in religion.\u201d)<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Surah At-Tawbah (9:11)<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>7. The Dangers of Hasty Prayers<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Messenger of Allah (\ufdfa) once saw a man praying hastily and said to him:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201c\u0627\u0631\u0652\u062c\u0650\u0639\u0652 \u0641\u064e\u0635\u064e\u0644\u0651\u0650 \u0641\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0646\u0651\u064e\u0643\u064e \u0644\u064e\u0645\u0652 \u062a\u064f\u0635\u064e\u0644\u0651\u0650\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>(\u201cGo back and pray, for you have not prayed.\u201d)<\/em><br \/>\nThe man repeated his Salah three times, yet each time the Prophet (\ufdfa) told him to pray again because he was not performing it correctly. <em>(Sahih al-Bukhari 757)<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Reflect: If our Salah was presented before the Prophet (\ufdfa), how often would he ask us to repeat it due to lack of humility and presence of mind?<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>8. Salah Brings Inner Peace<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Prophet (\ufdfa) would call upon Bilal (RA), saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201c\u064a\u064e\u0627 \u0628\u0650\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064f \u0623\u064e\u0631\u0650\u062d\u06e1\u0646\u064e\u0627 \u0628\u0650\u0671\u0644\u0635\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0629\u0650\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>(\u201cO Bilal, give us comfort through the prayer.\u201d)<\/em><br \/>\n<em>(Sunan Abi Dawood 4985)<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Salah is a moment to pour our worries and crises before Allah. It brings serenity and strength unmatched by any worldly comfort.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>9. True Believers Prioritize Salah<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Quran praises those who are diligent in their prayers:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u0648\u064e\u0671\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0630\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e \u0647\u064f\u0645\u06e1 \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0649\u0670 \u0635\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u062a\u0650\u0647\u0650\u0645\u06e1 \u064a\u064f\u062d\u064e\u0627\u0641\u0650\u0638\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>(\u201cAnd they who carefully maintain their prayers.\u201d)<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Surah Al-Ma\u2019arij (70:34)<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Salah is more than a physical act; it is the essence of worship, humility, and gratitude to Allah. It nurtures the soul, disciplines the mind, and enriches the heart.
