\u2018Abdull\u0101h ibn Mas\u2019\u016bd said:\u00a0I asked the Prophet (sallall\u0101hu \u2018alayhi wa sallam):\u00a0\u201cWhich action is the most beloved to All\u0101h the Mighty and Majestic?\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>So the Prophet (sallall\u0101hu \u2018alayhi wa sallam) responded:\u00a0\u201cThe prayer upon its correct time.\u201d<\/strong> He said: Then I asked him:\u00a0\u201cThen what after that?\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0So the Prophet (sallall\u0101hu \u2018alayhi wa sallam) said:\u00a0\u201cThen it is being dutiful and kind to the parents.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0Then I asked:\u00a0\u201cThen what?\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0So the Prophet (sallall\u0101hu \u2018alayhi wa sallam) answered:\u00a0\u201cThen it is Jih\u0101d in the cause of All\u0101h.\u201d<\/strong> So then \u2018Abdull\u0101h bin Mas\u2019\u016bd said:\u00a0\u201cThe Prophet (sallall\u0101hu \u2018alayhi wa sallam) narrated these things to me and if I\u2019d asked him for more (questions), he would have given me more (answers).\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n And All\u0101h (subh\u0101nahu wa ta\u2019\u0101l\u0101) has stated: \u201cAnd we have enjoined upon man to be good to his parents and his mother carried him with hardship and weakness and she gave birth to him with difficulty and hardship.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0[S\u016brat al-Ahq\u0101f: 15] So this is what All\u0101h (subh\u0101nahu wa ta\u2019\u0101l\u0101) has enjoined upon us in His Book. And likewise, All\u0101h (subh\u0101nahu wa ta\u2019\u0101l\u0101) has said: \u201cAnd we have enjoined upon man to be dutiful and good to his parents.
