And do not strike her on the face; and do not revile her nor boycott her except that you remain in the house.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n (Reported by Abu D\u0101wud (2143), An-Nas\u0101\u2019ee in Al-Kubr\u0101 (11431) and Ibn M\u0101jah (1850). Shaikh Al-Alb\u0101ni graded the narration hasan-saheeh in his checking of Sunan Ab\u012b D\u0101w\u016bd)<\/p>\n 1. Abu Dawood added a comment saying: Do not say to her \u0642\u064e\u0628\u064e\u0651\u062d\u064e\u0643\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0647\u064f \u201cMay Allah disfigure you, make you ugly\u201d. <\/p>\n 2. A man is obligated to care for his wife, and not leave her unattended and unprotected, without food, clothing and shelter. Women are vulnerable and can be exploited by oppressive and ignorant men, so the men who marry them are obligated to care for them as they would do for themselves.<\/p>\n 3. A man must provide for his wife, and she is not obligated to provide for him. He is the breadwinner, and goes out to work \u2013 the wife or daughters should not be expected to work and provide for the household.<\/p>\n 4. If a woman sees that her husband is struggling and finding it hard to meet the financial needs of the home, and so requests her help by adding some of her wealth to his, then if she aids him, it is good, rewardable and praiseworthy, and a great form of sadaqah on her behalf.<\/p>\n 5. If a wife upsets her husband and causes him anguish, he should not resort to striking her face or harming her physically. \u02bfA\u2019ishah (Allah be pleased with her):<\/p>\n \u0645\u064e\u0627 \u0636\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0628\u064e \u0631\u064e\u0633\u064f\u0648\u0644\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0647\u0650 \u0635\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0647\u064f \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0633\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0645\u064e \u062e\u064e\u0627\u062f\u0650\u0645\u064b\u0627 \u0644\u064e\u0647\u064f \u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u0627\u0645\u0652\u0631\u064e\u0623\u064e\u0629\u064b \u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u0636\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0628\u064e \u0628\u0650\u064a\u064e\u062f\u0650\u0647\u0650 \u0634\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0626\u064b\u0627<\/p>\n \u201cThe Messenger of Allah (salall\u0101hu \u02bfalaihi wasallam) never struck a servant, nor a woman, and he never struck anyone with his hand.\u201d<\/strong> (Muslim, no. 2328, Ibn M\u0101jah no. 1984)<\/p>\n And the best approach and example is that of the Messenger (salall\u0101hu \u2018alaihi wasallam). <\/p>\n 6. If a man experiences bad manners, disobedience from her, and neglect of her responsibilities such that his reminders and admonitions do not bring about rectification in her, he may boycott her in the bed, by not approaching her or touching her affectionately.
