Question to Imam Ibn Bāz: What is the path to knowing the reality of Tawhid in one’s creed, conduct, and action?
Answer: “The path, all praise is for Allah, is made easy. So it is upon the believer to take himself to account, to cling firmly to the truth, and to be affected by those who apply the revealed texts to themselves. Thus he remains upright upon the Tawhīd of Allah and being sincere to Him, holding fast to action upon that and calling to it—until he becomes firmly established upon it, and it becomes a natural disposition within him. Thereafter, it will not harm him if someone seeks to hinder him from this path or cast confusion upon him.
What is important is that he gives attention to this affair, takes himself to account, and comes to know it well—so that matters do not become confused for him, and so that doubts and misconceptions do not encircle him.”

كيف السبيل إلى معرفة حقيقة التوحيد اعتقادا وسلوكا وعملا؟
الطريق بحمد الله ميسر فعلى المؤمن أن يحاسب نفسه، ويلزمها الحق، ويتأثر بالمطبقين للنصوص على أنفسهم، فيستقيم على توحيد الله والإخلاص له ويلزم العمل بذلك، ويدعو إليه، حتى يثبت عليه، ويكون سجية له لا يضره بعد ذلك من أراد أن يعوقه عن هذا أو يلبس عليه.
المهم أن يعنى بهذا الأمر ويحاسب نفسه، وأن يعرفه جيدا حتى لا تلتبس عليه الأمور، وحتى لا تروج عليه الشبهات
